Jessica,

Exciting news is on the horizon for early childhood programs in Connecticut! The Connecticut Early Childcare Facilities Grant Program is gearing up to disburse approximately $13 million in funding to support early childhood programs across the state. These grant funds will provide much-needed support for construction, renovation, and quality improvement projects within child care programs.

Recently, All Our Kin hosted an informational webinar to discuss the grant and answer any questions you may have. If you missed last night's webinar, you can catch the replay here. For more details on eligibility and the application process, please visit the website.

We are here to support you throughout this process. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out by completing our inquiry form or contacting Lorena at Lorena@allourkin.org. We look forward to helping you in making the most of this valuable opportunity for early childhood education in Connecticut.

Tell Congress

Increase Funding for CAFCP!

Help urge Congress to support the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CAFCP). The passage of the Child Care Nutrition Enhancement Act would permanently:

  • Provide an additional $.10 reimbursement for each meal and snack served in the CACFP
  • Eliminate different reimbursement rates for family day care homes
  • Allow family child care providers to claim their own children’s meals for reimbursement
