Connecticut’s Blue Ribbon Panel on Child Care recently kicked off its first public listening session, marking the beginning of a series of important conversations. Educators and community members joined in to share their opinions and provide invaluable feedback on topics around Equity and Access. The Office of Early Childhood (OEC) also shared the panel’s workgroup recommendations that provide insights into the strategies being considered to enhance equity and expand access to high-quality child care services. We're only on a few days away before Connecticut lawmakers pass a state budget and your actions have been making a difference! If you haven't already, take a few minutes to let Gov. Lamont know that more funding is needed to support our child care system!
