Do you let emotions take control in the face of work and societal challenges? In this workshop you will learn mind-body practices for regulating the nervous system, as well as strategies for co-regulation with the children in your care.

Connecting with nature provides wonderful learning opportunities and intentional teaching practices for children. Dora Ramos from Novas Academy Family Day Care will host a workshop Feb. 23 on how to create and plan a curriculum following the rhythms and cycles of the earth.

Equity Workshop

What to Do When Children Notice Difference


Starting at a young age, children can notice differences in gender, skin color, and abilities. Acknowledging differences can lead to difficult conversations, but also provide a valuable learning opportunity. Join this workshop on Feb. 25 to reflect on ways to celebrate differences, and discover hands-on tools for facilitating these conversations with children.
