AP EXAM INFORMATION
AP EXAM SCHEDULE MAY 18 - 22
STUDENT REMINDERS
  1. Students must locate their E-ticket prior to testing. College Board emailed the ticket to each student 2 days prior to their exam date. If student did not receive an email from College Board with E-ticket, students can log into their College Board account and retrieve the E-ticket from there.
  2. Log into the exam using their E-ticket 30 minutes prior to the exam start time.  This prevents trying to handle issues/troubleshoot technical issues minutes before the exam is scheduled to start.
  3. STUDENTS: be vigilant about using time wisely/hitting the submission button before time runs out. As of TODAY, some students stated that they had typed their answers to question #2 in the submission box, but before they could hit send, time ran out; they were not able to submit their answers. The link to request a makeup exam is: www.cb.org/requestmakeup if you've lost too much time due to a technical problem, can't connect to their exam, or experienced some other serious disruption.
Taking AP Exams

Exam Features
To be fair to all students, some of whom have lost more instructional time than others, the exam will only include topics and skills most AP teachers and students have already covered in class by early March.
Like many college-level exams, this year's AP Exams will be open book/open note.

Students will be able to take exams on any device they have access to—computer, tablet, or smartphone. They'll be able to either type and upload their responses or write responses by hand and submit a photo via their cell phone.

Exam Timing
  • Exams will be given May 11–22. Each subject's exam will be taken on the same day at the same time, worldwide.
  • Makeup test dates will be available for each subject June 1–5.
  • Students can take the exam at home or in schools, if they reopen.
