Hurry—the deadline is Friday, October 24, 2025!

The LGBTQ & Planning Division and Women & Planning Division are researching how to best plan for inclusion. We are interested in speaking with folks who have used zoning or other planning strategies to improve the lived experiences of marginalized communities.

If you have 15 minutes to speak about an equity-improving planning project and its implementation, please email dba56@cornell.edu by Friday, October 24, 2025, and you will be set up with a time that works for you!

As planners face accelerating change and mounting uncertainty, artificial intelligence (AI) offers both promising tools and complex challenges. This session will demystify AI, introduce practical tools already reshaping planning work, and explore the ethical questions and fears that come with emerging technologies. With a focus on working smarter—not harder—participants will see live demonstrations of AI capabilities and leave with insights on how to use AI thoughtfully and responsibly to strengthen their impact in a rapidly evolving world.
