2025 APA California-Northern Awards Winners

Each year, the Northern Section bestows Planning Awards to honor the most outstanding efforts in planning in the Section. This year, we received over 45 applications, the most ever in a single Awards season. The jury was impressed with the overall quality of the applications. After careful deliberation, the results are in, and we are excited to share them with you.

Join us on May 15th for an unforgettable evening as we honor the outstanding achievements in planning at the 2025 APA California–Northern Awards Gala! This year, we proudly recognize over 20 exceptional planning projects and professionals who have made significant contributions to the field.

Cost: registration service fees apply

*  Current membership to APA California — Northern is required for this type of ticket.

** This ticket type is intended for people that are within their first 10 years of professional planning experience and those who identify themselves as an under-represented group in the planning profession.

What to Expect:

• 6:00 PM: Guest arrival and reception
• Complimentary beer, wine, and soft drinks
• Hors d'oeuvres served throughout the evening
• Full bar available for purchase
• 7:30 PM: Awards ceremony begins
• 9:00 PM: Gala concludes, followed by an on-site after party with a cash bar until 11:00 PM hosted by the Young and Emerging Planners Group (YEP).
