The AICP Certification Exam Content Outline is your official guide for what to expect in terms of content for the AICP Exam. The exam content outline is typically revised about every five years, and the current version will be used until the end of 2026. Make sure to download a copy and use this as a template for your study plan. Likewise, the AICP Certification Guide is the official guide to each step of the AICP membership and certification process. It’s usually updated for each exam cycle - about every six months – so make sure to have the version of the guide that goes with the May or November exam window when you plan to take the AICP Exam.

For even more tips and a complete overview of the exam content outline, you can check out the video series featuring more than 20 AICP member volunteers and experts sharing their advice and experience on YouTube
