Your go-to checklist to help prepare for APAP|NYC 2024

The conference kicks off at the end of next week, and we want to help you prepare! Click the link below to view our go-to checklist for all things conference and arrive to NYC stress-free!

January 5, 2024 – Deadline to register for APAP|NYC at the regular registration rate. Register now.

January 5, 2024 – Deadline to submit your showcase listing(s) to be included in our online platform, Swapcard. You must be registered for the conference to purchase and submit listings.

January 5, 2024 – Deadline for members to vote early on member-related items. You can vote online now.

Friday at the conference is a great day to get oriented and make connections. Join us starting at 9:00 a.m. for these networking sessions and have fun while learning how to navigate the conference.

Meet with YOUR people at Friday Forums and Affinity Groups! Jumpstart your conference experience with colleagues who share common interests and engage in more intimate conversations on Friday, January 12. These events do not require conference registration; however, RSVP is required.

Orientation is for everyone, new and returning. Make the most of your time at conference and get up to speed on "How to APAP" at the APAP|NYC 2024 Orientation on Friday, January 12 from 1:30-2:45 p.m. Add this event to your schedule in Swapcard.

Here are some new and returning programs at APAP|NYC 2024!

The APAP Honors returns at a new time! Join us on Monday, January 15 at 8:30 a.m. for The APAP Honors Awards Breakfast Meet & Greet, immediately followed by the awards ceremony starting at 9:30 a.m. We will celebrate colleagues from across the performing arts who have made an impact on the field and those who are shaping the future. If you haven't already, add the event to your personal schedule in Swapcard. The APAP Honors is sponsored by IMG Artists.

Plus, look for the new ways APAP is fueling collaboration and fresh approaches with programs like Works-In-Progress Pitch Session and Discovery Roundtables: Just SEW (Socially Engaged Work).

January 11, 2024 – APAP|NYC registration and badge pick up open at the New York Hilton Midtown, 3:00-6:00 p.m.

January 14, 2024 – Save the date for the APAP Annual Member Meeting in person at the APAP|NYC conference and online from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (EST). If you're unable to attend in-person, you can join the Zoom meeting.

January 15, 2024 – Young Performers Career Advancement (YPCA) Showcase at Carnegie Hall at 7:00 p.m. A reception will be held immediately following the showcase. RSVP is encouraged.

Last week, APAP reintroduced the 10/20/30 READI Pledge, recognizing the importance and necessity of including and bringing focus to accessibility within this work. It is equally important to model this pledge at our upcoming conference, ensuring all feel welcome and comfortable during our time together. From fully accessible spaces at the Hilton, to all-gender bathrooms and nursing pods, APAP is working to provide an environment where all registrants can attend as their full selves. Expand your thinking around accessibility and add the following session to your schedule: Accessibility for All: How to Start Your Journey Towards True Inclusion on Monday, January 15, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Add showcases directly to your schedule in Swapcard. With hundreds of showcases happening in the Hilton and around NYC, attendees need to be able to plan accordingly. Now you can add showcases directly to your schedule in Swapcard along with plenaries, sessions, meetings, and more.

The new and improved Networking Lounge is back and better than ever! Use this meeting space located on the Hilton 3rd floor promenade to connect with new and familiar colleagues, take a meeting, or take a break. The Networking Lounge is sponsored by Opus 3.
