APC is excited to announce its most recent expansion, focusing on meeting the growing and more demanding needs of our customers. This expansion includes large investments in processing equipment, process stream optimization, capacity increases, capability improvements and manufacturing flexibility across the board.
These changes will all come together to help make APC MORE responsive, IMPROVE on time delivery and lead times, BUILD on APC's industry leading product quality, and DECREASE the time required to react to customers ever changing needs and requirements from a manufacturing perspective.
When asked about the status of the current expansion, APC International Plant Manager and Mech.E Brian Park added the following:
" This expansion has been thoroughly planned to meet today’s demands for highly specialized components delivered in the shortest lead time possible. At the current time, we are approximately 30% complete – with equipment installations already under way in the Machining and Electroding areas of our facilities.
Once fully implemented, APC will be able to reduce lead times – most drastically on smaller quantity orders that require fast turnaround. Equally as important, the expansion will further improve the quality and consistency of our piezoelectric ceramics. These are all critical aspects of APC's continual improvement plan. "
