Why Walk?

Because every 6 minutes, someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. The more funds we raise, the more people we can help!

What is an Optimism Walk?

  1. It is a nationwide movement to mobilize and inspire people to step up and put an end to Parkinson’s disease.
  2. An important and fun-filled event that raises much-needed funds and awareness for Parkinson’s disease.

The Walk features a short, 0.25-mile walk, family-friendly entertainment and activities, light refreshments, and the opportunity to visit others with PD and vendors who serve them.

Earn great prizes for raising $100, $500, and more!

The Brothers Lazaroff and Friends band will be playing again!
