SBA moves DSBS login to SBA Connect | |
The Small Business Administration (SBA) has moved the Dynamic Small Business Database (DSBS) login to connect.sba.gov. The move is expected to enhance the speed and availability of the system. Users will be able to log in using their login.gov account. A training video that covers how to register for SBA Connect has been made available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zO6haU-xOVg.

Hackers probing contractors for path to Pentagon, DISA chief says | |
Foreign hackers are increasingly targeting U.S. government contractors, seeking unauthorized access to Pentagon networks. Lt. Gen. Robert Skinner, director of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), warns of China, Russia, and other adversaries infiltrating suppliers to obtain sensitive plans and intelligence.
DISA states that collaboration and implementation of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 framework are crucial and recent breaches highlight the need to fortify systems against state and non-state actors. Read More

Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act | |
The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) is a historic investment, allocating $550 billion to build, repair, and improve our nation's roads, bridges, airports, railways, and other transportation systems. In just the last year, the federal government, largely through state or local municipalities, has awarded roughly $200 billion in contracts through more than 20,000 projects across all 50 states. While the legislation aims to enhance industrial competitiveness and foster a more resilient and efficient economy, the funding provides a generational opportunity for contractors to bid and win large construction contracts. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) has launched a new initiative that seeks potential partners for its growing Civil Works R&D program. With up to $20 million available for new ERDC partnerships in fiscal year 2024, this historic effort is the largest tech challenge to date from ERDCWERX.
Submissions are now being accepted. To begin preparing pre-proposals for basic and applied research and commercial solutions, view their current events and tech challenges on the no-cost ERDCWERX portal.

National Virtual Business Opportunity Session
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration (NCA), in collaboration with the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) Direct Access Program (DAP), will host a virtual business opportunity session.
