The APF Houston Internship Program aims to match students with host companies and organizations for full time internships this summer. Students and companies/
organizations are encouraged to apply and sign up at the links below.
Students will be placed at companies/organizations for 8 weeks, from June 18-August 10, 2018. Businesses and organizations will
offer competitive and educational internship placements.
Interns will be expected to work full time and participate in activities such as seminars with fellow APF interns. Final dates may vary.
Host supervisors are expected to provide a full time placement, training as needed, mentorship, and a substantial project (administrative work can also be assigned). Hosts are encouraged to have round-table interactive seminars for APF interns with a member of senior leadership leading a talk or discussion.

Applicants must be current undergraduate or graduate students (graduating seniors are welcome to apply), at least 18 years old by June 18, 2018, and eligible to work in the United States unless they are volunteering at a registered non-profit or governmental organization that is willing to host them.
Internships range from volunteer positions at non-profits to paid positions with businesses or organizations. Please note that some non-profits may offer paid positions, and companies will be required to pay at least $7.25/hour (minimum wage). Companies are also encouraged to pay $12+/hour.
Interns can choose to seek class credit for their placement via an internship related class when feasible.
