Dear Colleagues,

We are seeing a global increase in cyber-attacks over the past several days.

Please be extra mindful of emails and websites, both in your work and personal online activity.

Specifically, attackers are ramping up phishing emails and setting up malicious sites pretending to cover current events.

Here are some dos and don’ts to help you stay safe:

Do not click on links or open attachments you are not expecting

Do use the “Report Phish” button in Microsoft Outlook if you are unsure of an email’s content or sender
Do pay attention to the web addresses of the links and sites that come up in search engine searches such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Bing
Do watch out for misspelled names, unusual or unknown sites – these are frequently embedded with malware that attacks your system as soon as you land on the site

Do be sure to independently verify websites you interact with from both a business and personal perspective
If in doubt, before you click, please reach out to the Cybersecurity Team:
APG-ITSecurity@oldcastle.com with any questions or concerns.

Thank you for your attention and diligence.

Best regards,
