Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. The forty-day journey towards Easter encourages Christians to return to the Lord with one's heart, mind and soul. Personal conversion is a path to communal action and charity.

To help prepare ourselves on our Lenten journey, I invite you to reflect on Pope Francis' message for Lent 2017 whose theme is "The Word is a gift. Other persons are a gift."
