APOMA Members - Mark your calendars for our meeting at Photonics West 2024 in San Francisco!


The APOMA annual meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 31st, at 8:30 a.m. at Moscone West Building, Room 2014 during SPIE Photonics West '24 in San Francisco. Join us as we introduce new additions to the APOMA board, provide updates on the 2024 Tech Workshop which will feature a tour of LIGO Livingston, and hear from keynote speaker Tayyab Suratwala of Lawrence Livermore National Labs, as he talks about Fusion Ignition progress and advancements in Freeform Optics.

Welcome new APOMA Board members!





The results are in for the largest APOMA At-Large Board Member election to date! With 8 candidates to choose from and 177 total votes, this historic race shows the strength and diversity of the amazing APOMA membership. We want to thank all the individuals for participating in the election, and making an effort to join the board. This has been a wonderful example of APOMA’s membership involvement that will help individuals and companies grow together within the precision optics industry in America. APOMA expresses its gratitude to Shai, Mitzi, Barry, Niko, and Gary. You ran a very close race, and we will continue to lean on you for your insights and expertise.
