Update on APOMA's 2022 Annual Member Meeting

Due to the circumstances surrounding the COVID Omicron variant, the APOMA Board has decided to postpone the Annual General Membership Meeting usually held at Photonics West. The new proposed meeting location will be in conjunction with SPIE's Defense and Commercial Sensing (DCS) conference during the week of April 3, 2022 in Orlando, FL. MCC Apprenticeship Program Ending in 2022

Interested in an apprenticeship program for your business? Not quite sure what it entails? Guess what-- there's a video for that!

Funding is available for manufacturers that would like to participate, but the program expires in September of 2022. If you've been on the fence about an apprenticeship program at your facility - the time to act is NOW!

APOMA's next Technical Workshop is coming up in 2022!

The APOMA Tech Workshop is held every other year in a rotating location and features timely topics of interest to our optics manufacturing community.


The 2022 Tech Workshop will be held November 9-11, 2022. Courses and speakers will focus on the most pressing topics facing the industry today. Signature talks will cover deep knowledge of ISO 10110 standards, ITAR, and state-of-the-art optical manufacturing techniques. Additionally, attendees will have access to tour one of Colorado’s top flight and aerospace manufacturing facilities.

The workshop will take place at the historic Hotel Boulderado. Built in 1908, it is one of the most famous and luxurious hotel landmarks in Boulder, Colorado.

Wednesday, Nov. 9 – Welcome Reception
Thursday, Nov. 10 – Talks and tour
Friday, Nov. 11 – Talks
