APP'S 111TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE!

AUGUST 10 TO 13, 2025 NANAIMO, BRITISH COLUMBIA CANADA

ONE OCEAN / SHARED VISION

Plans for the upcoming APP 111th Annual Conference in Nanaimo, B.C. Canada -- August 10 to 13, 2025 -- are really starting to come together! Sessions will cover topics such as shipping, cruise, governance, workforce development, emergency planning and resiliency, new technologies and a spotlight on the innovative and dynamic activities at the Port of Nanaimo. Equally important, our networking excursions are almost fully confirmed, including golf at the Nanaimo Golf Club -- Vancouver Island's premier course -- plus a visit to Saysutshun (Newcastle Island) for a traditional salmon bake and a cultural experience with the Snuneymuxw Nation. We'll be publishing our full agenda very soon so stay tuned for more announcements!

Registration is now open. Take advantage of our early bird member rate until July 18, 2025.

The Venue

Nanaimo is a vibrant urban centre found on the east side of beautiful Vancouver Island where an abundance of recreation and cultural opportunities give residents a lifestyle second to none for living, working and playing. APP Conference attendees will be delighted by an agenda that highlights Nanaimo's working harbour against a backdrop of natural beauty.

All conference sessions, including meals, will be taking place at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre — a very short walk from either the Coast Hotel Nanaimo (about two blocks) or the Courtyard by Marriott Nanaimo (across the street). We have secured premium group rates for both -- averaging $230 CAD per night.
