APPNA/ICNA Relief Efforts

ICNA APPNA/Relief organized a free community health fair and Covid-19 vaccines distribution event at Makkah Masjid in Garland, TX.
Free health screenings services including blood pressure, blood sugar, Total Hemoglobin and BMI, were provided to the participants.
Covid-19 first, second and booster doses as well as kids vaccines to 5-11 yrs were provided by local Pharmacy CureRx.
Physician consultation was provided by Dr Zahra Ahmed.
Several participants with abnormal test results were referred to ICNA Relief free Medical clinic Dallas for further treatment and follow up.
Makkah Masjid President Br Ghulam Jangda, Faisal Malik from CureRx and local community members were very thankful to ICNA Relief & APPNA for providing free health screenings and Covid19 vaccines for kids, adults and elderly.

APPNA/ICNA Relief mobile clinic free community health fair was held at Islamic Association of Greater Memphis/Masjid At-Rahaman in Memphis, Tennessee A total of 20 participants received free health screenings including blood pressure, blood sugar, temp. check, A1C Testing and Physician Consultation.
It was a successful and eventful day, 3 Volunteers participated in this event.
The masjid’s Imam and board members and Participants were very thankful to ICNA Relief and APPNA for providing these valuable services for their community.

APPNA/ICNA Relief mobile clinic free community health fair was held at Islamic Center of Greensboro, North Carolina.
53 People received free health screenings including blood pressure, blood sugar, Temp check, HbA1C, Lipid Panel, and Physician Counseling.
On/site physician mobile clinic free community health fair was held at Islamic Center of Tennessee in Nashville,Tennessee.
24 participants received free health screenings including blood pressure, blood sugar, HgbA1C Testing and Physician Counseling.
7 Volunteers participated in this event including the physicians and a pharmacist.

Free health screenings services including blood pressure, blood sugar, Lipid panel and BMI, were provided to the participants.
Covid vaccine first, second, booster doses as well as kids vaccines to 5-11 yrs were provided by local Pharmacy CureRx.
170 Covid19 vaccines and 49 free Covid19 PCR testing were provided.
Physician consultation was provided by Dr Khalid Syed.

Appna (associations of physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America) in partnership with Alkhidmat foundation established a residential room for girls at Aghosh Sheikhupura, Pakistan.
During the year 2021, APPNA in collaboration with Alkhidmat established a residential room for girls at Aghosh, Sheikhupura, Pakistan.
It will be providing residence for 8 Girls, who will live here with security and safety and will learn educational, social and vocational skills in School and in computer lab that will help them to become more productive members of Pakistan and the Whole World.
It was sponsored by Dr. M.Rizwan Khalid (Immediate past president APPNA), funds matched by APPNA and construction supervised by Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan.
Appna Continue Serving Our Communities, Providing Winter Clothing Packs to Deserving Families in Various Areas of Pakistan.
From December 30, 2021 to January 2, 2022 APPNA provided winter Clothing to 1738 people in various areas of Pakistan.
Thursday December 30, 2021, winter clothing packs provided to 240 individuals (Widows, day labourer’s kids) at Yazdani Road Factory area, Harbanspura, Lahore.
Friday December 31, 2021, Winter clothing packs provided to 200 individuals at Bhatta Haji Sohan Din, Kasur.
Sunday January 2, 2022, winter clothing packs provided to 440 individuals in areas of Jhelum Valley Azad Kashmir as below.
1. Refugee Camp 150 packs.
2. SOS Children Village Muzzafarabad 50 packs.
3. Slum Area of MZD 54 packs.
4. Madrasah Masjid 142 packs.
5. Garhi Dupatta town 20 packs.
6. Govt Girls School 24 packs.
