Sorry - it's been a while.

Our last newsletter was in November 2015 so I'm sorry for it being such a while between newsletters.

We have been busy here at JohnsonEquestrian and after record rain in January we looked like we were living in a rainforest.

In February I was humbled to be named the Equestrian Australia's Coach of the Month, you can see the article here. Thanks everyone for this honour.

We have some lovely new students, welcome all, and lots of interesting events coming up in the future.

Looking forward to seeing you all here at   JohnsonEquestrian soon.

Coach Updating Clinic
We will be running an updating clinic here at Johnson Equestrian on Wednesday 13th April .  We will cover all the compulsory items and cover as well record keeping for coaches, getting your working with children cetificate, progressing your coaching quals, professional development options, social media for coaches and much more.

In addition to completing their annual coach renewal, in 2016 all NCAS Coaches will be required to undergo reaccreditation. The reaccreditation process for NCAS coaches now occurs every three years rather than every two years see more
Also and for the first time, at the point of renewing, all NCAS Coaches will be required to provide to EA evidence of the following: Senior First Aid certification and a  Working With Children Check (or the equivalent for your State).

You will not be re-accredited without providing evidence of these two certifications. Understanding some of these certifications are valid for multiple years, from 2017 and beyond, Coaches will be responsible for providing updated proof of certification as and when appropriate. In essence, EA must always have proof of current certification on file.
