Stock up on reading for the cooler evenings...
Our Piccabeen Bookshop is well stocked to tempt all readers with books that are just right for the cosy cool evenings ahead.

The funds generated by this shop are crucial in supporting our work financially. Our volunteer staff are very friendly: do drop in to say hello and buy a book or two.

National Tree Day 29th July
  Icon Calendar
Every year TM Landcare, like other community groups across Australia, celebrates our natural heritage by planting trees.

This year, on Sunday 29th July, we're hosting a family-friendly community planting morning at Guanaba Park, Siganto St, Tamborine Mountain.

Mark this date in your diary and, if you can, come along with family or friends to plant a tree to grow our forest environment and share morning tea with friendly neighbours.

Watch for more details in the next Newsflash and our local newspapers.

Below, a satisfied group of planters smile for the camera.

Our recent monster book sale was a huge success! Enthusiastic locals scrabbled through the boxes and came away delighted with bags of books. These sales, as well as the regular takings at our Piccabeen Bookshop, help fund our ongoing projects. We thank the volunteers who keep the shop running smoothly year after year.
