RECITAL NEWS
We are proud to announce that the theme for our 17 th Annual Recital will be "#morethandance". All information regarding the recital is in the recital booklet. All the forms necessary to make your recital experience as smooth as possible will be in the booklet. PARENTS OR STUDENTS 16 YEARS AND OLDER must come into the studio and sign out your booklet and forms. You should already have picked this up! If not, please do so right away!
Costumes are arriving daily and we are doing our best to get them out to you in a timely manner. Your teacher will let you know at the beginning of class if your costumes have arrived and the last 10-15 minutes of class will be dedicated to trying on costumes to ensure that there are no issues. We will address costume issues as they present themselves.
IMPORTANT: There will be a label on your child's costume bag that will give you pertinent dates and information for their recital piece.
We will provide videos on the recital and rehearsal processes soon.
RECITAL PHOTO WEEKEND
Students should come fully dressed in their costume with hair and make-up done with the proper shoes and tights. This information is found on the label of your costume. New tights should be purchased for Picture Day. You should bring your order form with you on Picture Day and mark the Dancers' song name on the Order Form. If you have multiple dances, you can write your check number on each form for each dance and turn the check in with the first order form.
We run ON SCHEDULE. Do not be late, we cannot wait. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early. Make every effort to have your child attend so they can be part of the group photo. If you do not plan to attend, please let the front desk know so we are not looking for you on Picture Day. Purchasing pictures is OPTIONAL, but a great keepsake!

AMBASSADOR NOTE
Hey everybody! As we move into April we are really getting into crunch time for recital. It’s important to be practicing those numbers to get ready for the big shows. Recital music should have been sent out so everyone should have their songs. Taking half an hour to an hour every day to review and practice your recital choreography will not only help to improve your dancing, but also helps keep you from having to review in class every week so you can get more work done just in case your recital piece hasn’t been finished yet. Make sure to take every correction your teacher gives you and work on it so that you can get that down for next time.
LOST AND FOUND
The Lost & Found has many, many dance shoes, clothing and even street shoes! Please check if you are missing something (and even if you aren't!)
ATTENDANCE AND TARDINESS
