After a full year of recess from theatrical screenings, the Miami Beach Film Society's Interactive Archive programming is BACK! Since we closed down with the 1960s back in March 2020, we are resuming with two landmark films of a new world just after that--MYSTERIES OF THE ORGANISM by Dusan Makavejev and the newly restored JE T'AIME, MON NON PLUS by Serge Gainsbourg. The sexual revolution was in full force, among other things, and these two enfant terrible filmmakers captured the era in signature fashion.
If you were a member of Miami Beach Film Society in 2020, we are EXTENDING your membership to the entire year of MBFS programming in 2021! That's our gift to you for missing a full year of theatrical MBFS screenings! Your name will be at the door, so just show up for the Wednesday night screenings for free entry for a full season of retrospective films representing the 1970s and 1980s. If you would like to become an MBFS member for free entry into the 2021 Wednesday night screenings (which is separate from O Cinema Membership) you can do that for only $40 at the door at O Cinema.
MBFS will occasionally also screen first-run films at O Cinema, but those will be regular price. We encourage you to also become an O Cinema Member for discounts on the other great programming.
