A Message from Our President:
I’m so proud of our organization for finding fun and unique ways to stay connected to our members throughout the shutdown. While it had its challenges at times, we managed to continue reaching our community in various virtual formats. Moving forward, and in concert with all county guidelines, we are excited to begin having some in-person events to kick off Autism Acceptance Month.
As we look forward to the upcoming months, be sure to save the date for our first ever Autism’s Got Talent Live Drive-In Event on Saturday April 17th at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. This event will highlight some of the talented performers from our virtual talent show, and is sure to be a fun day. Tickets start at $30 per car and spots will be responsibly distanced. Proceeds will benefit all of our great local recreational programs. We will also be holding our first ever Autism Acceptance Drive Through Event on Sunday April 11th at the parking area of the Regional Center, 4355 Ruffin Road.. Drive on through for some fun giveaways and exciting entertainment.
With warmer weather on the way, there’s no better time to reserve your spot in our Pool Pals Adaptive Swim Lesson program. Also watch for updates on our other in-person programs and fundraiser events, including Camp I Can, Surf Camp, and Splash for Cash; which we are proud to say will be happening this year as we emerge stronger, together.
Be Well,
Dustin Tracy
