CELEBRATE SPRING WITH PBS KIDS AND IDAHO PUBLIC TELEVISION!

Spring is in the air, and oh, what a delightful time it is to embrace the warmth of the sun and the promise of new beginnings! After a long, chilly winter, let’s shake off those frostbitten blues and jump into a world of vibrant colors and budding life. Gather your little ones and celebrate the season with exciting hands-on learning activities, crafts, and delightful investigations that will spark their creativity and curiosity! Encourage them to wonder about the magical transformation of weather and the bustling life around them.

To add a splash of fun, whip up some Pinkalicious lemonade or get crafty with a Curious George-inspired bird feeder to welcome our feathered friends back to the neighborhood.

Remember, every giggle and question is a step on the path of lifelong learning, so let’s make this spring a season of joy, discovery, and unforgettable memories!

It's Bex! She is the new friend in the Work It Out Wombats Treeborhood!

She is adventurous, creative, and hard of hearing. Bex wears a cochlear implant with a hearing aid. She loves waffle-wiches (a waffle stuffed between two pancakes)!

Grades 3-5

Have some fun implementing PBS KIDS Podcasts into your classroom. Let your students develop their own podcast by finding an interesting topic, exploring it, and then interviewing others about their ideas on the topic. They could interview professionals in their school: teachers, principal, custodian, librarian, and get many different perspectives.

IDAHO JOBS EXPLAINED

Idaho Jobs Explained is a web series designed to help teens and young adults explore in-demand careers across Idaho.

Each episode takes viewers inside real workplaces, where host Matthew works alongside employees and interviews professionals at different stages of their careers.

Between episodes, shorter social media videos offer career advice, soft skills tips, and practical tools to support every step of the journey.

This engaging, hands-on series gives students, parents, and educators statewide access to the resources they need to explore and pursue meaningful careers.

This month, on Science Trek, we are learning about fossils!

When an animal or plant dies, it is usually completely destroyed — either by another animal eating it or by decaying on the ground or in the water. But sometimes the animal is buried before it is destroyed. And when that happens, and conditions are just right, the remains of the animal are preserved as fossils.

Learn more here:

And join Evie and Garrett as scientists answer students' questions about the topic of the month, FOSSILS.
