PROCESS REIMAGINED - BUILDING IT UP TO TEAR IT DOWN

Connected through the broad processes of making, evidence of labor, and the absence of the artist's hand, Process Reimagined – Building it Up to Tear it Down presents a series of artworks across a range of mediums and disciplines. Focusing on the ebb and flow of construction/deconstruction this examination of varied processes elucidates how the conceptual aims of each artist are inherently tied to their personal act of making.

Exhibition runs through May 3rd.

Gallery Hours T-Th, 12-6PM; The Gallery will be temporarily closed on Fridays

FEATURED GRANTEE...

BDF 2022 GRANTEE

RONALD COLEMAN, HEARTBREAK CREW

Established in 2009, HeartBreak Crew (HBC) started as a group of kids from The Bronx dancing in school talent shows and became a company wanting to share its talent with the world. HBC's name stems from the heartbreaks and hard times its members went through, and the importance of supporting each other as a collective. Since then, its mission has been to build a community and family that can overcome any obstacle through dance. Under the direction of Ronald Coleman, HBC has become a household name in the East Coast dance community.

With a decade-long legacy and members spanning from all over New York City, they continue to grow and share their passion. HeartBreak Crew has performed on many stages across the Tri-State area, Boston, Washington D.C., and more, and continues to look for new opportunities to do what they love.
