Missing Patient Report
Report Location: Transactional Reports > Patient
The Missing Patients Report enables pharmacies to pinpoint patients with claim activity in one period but no activity in a subsequent period. You can define these periods as desired and specifically target patients per the additional report parameters.
This valuable report is included in the standard user report subscription library and arrives on the first of each month. Upon opening subscription reports, you can adjust the parameters and rerun the report as needed or manually at any point.
Recommended Use
Many pharmacies opted out of ESI’s Part D network for 2024-2025 and have not served those patients since 2023. Easily pinpoint these patients by using the following parameters:
- Patient Seen timeframe = 1/1/2023 - 12/31/2023
- Patient Haven’t Seen timeframe = 1/1/2024 – Yesterday (i.e., 2024 year to date)
- BINs = 003858, 610014 (Note: Run the report once for the first BIN then a second time for the second BIN)
- For patients with Rxs billed to these ESI BINs, this will pinpoint patients seen in 2023 but not since
- Pro Tip: To focus primarily on patients with multiple Rxs each, change Fill Operator to “greater than or equal to” and enter “2” in the Number of Scripts field
