The Board Aims to Boost Engagement with Members

The eight members of the American Pharmacies Board of Directors recently traveled to Knoxville, Tennessee for their annual Strategic Planning Meeting. During the meeting, they discussed and refined the organization's goals and reviewed its value propositions.

Strategic Planning Meeting Discussion Topics Included:

• Continuing to expand the breadth of our advocacy partners to increase the power of the collective voice of independent pharmacy
• Leveraging the expertise of our members to educate our other members
• Continued Board outreach to our members in the field

Later that evening, they held a reception to meet with many of our Tennessee members and other invited guests.

Among those attending the reception were members Rob Bullington of Newport, TN and his wife, Andi; Ryan Kragel of Morristown, TN and his wife, Audra; Greg Bohannon of Ooltewah, TN; Vicki Upchurch of Crossville, TN; Raewynn Snodderly of Jacksboro, TN; Rissa Pryse of LaFollette, TN; Art Snow of Manchester, TN; and Cencora Business Development Manager John Bradley. APRx National Account Manager Peggy Peterson, who covers the Tennessee territory for American Pharmacies, also attended.   

The reception and dinner were part of the Board’s ongoing effort to increase interaction with APRx members.
