High Level Financials Report
Report location: Transactional Reports > Dispensing
The RxCompass High-Level Financials Report provides a quick summary of performance over selected time periods, with the option to focus on Brand and/or Generic dispensing. Need a clear view of dispensing performance month-over-month or year-over-year? This transactional report offers valuable insights and can be exported in Excel format for further analysis and use.
Recommended Use
- Run the report on the first of each month to evaluate Brand and Generic dispensing performance uniquely, or in aggregate.
- Apply custom Named Groups to this and other transactional reports as needed for highly focused insight.

Typical Use
- Start/End Date timeframe = Previous full month (or timeframe of choice).
- If you have access to multiple stores in RxCompass, select all desired stores.
- Running the report for a specific Formulation Type (e.g., Brand or Generic) is usually most effective. You can select multiple types if you need an aggregated summary.
- Once the report loads, a summary will be shown, including drill-downs for applicable Rx volume and new patient volume.
- If comparing different periods, run the report for each and export each instance, ideally to ‘CSV (comma delimited)’ format for ease of use.
