American Pharmacies Members Make Their Mark at ThoughtSpot

American Pharmacies members played a leading role at this year’s ThoughtSpot—winning awards, conducting CE sessions, sharing valuable insights, and engaging in conversations that advance independent pharmacy.

We’re proud to spotlight several outstanding members whose contributions stood out throughout the event.

Magnolia PharmacyAPRx Board Chairman Steve Hoffart led a well-attended CE session, “Regulations and Revenue: A Roadmap for Growing Your Compounding Business,” delivering practical, experience-based insights that deeply resonated with attendees. His clear, step-by-step guidance not only demystified the regulatory hurdles of compounding but also outlined tangible pathways for generating sustainable revenue.

People’s Pharmacy – During his remarks, Tim Cernohous, SVP & President – Community Retail and LTC Pharmacy at Cencora, shared that he had recently visited People’s Pharmacy, an APRx member, and was impressed by how actively engaged they are in promoting nutritional supplements. His observation sparked a broader conversation about the importance of diversifying pharmacy services—a message that strongly aligns with the guidance and strategies we continue to promote within the APRx network.

Cypress Wellness Pharmacy – Congratulations to Justin and Allie Ceravolo, who took home a GNP Champions Award in the storytelling category! Their commitment to patient wellness is front and center, even in their name. With a strong social media presence and a community-first mindset, they’re setting a powerful example for modern independent pharmacy.

Mickey Fine PharmacyJeff Gross was recognized in the general session for his extraordinary commitment to patient care during the recent California wildfires. Amid the crisis, Jeff went above and beyond to ensure his patients had uninterrupted access to their medications—opening early and remaining accessible to meet urgent needs. His efforts received national recognition after longtime friend and customer, actor James Woods, shared a heartfelt post on X praising Jeff’s dedication. American Pharmacies was proud to provide financial support during this challenging time, standing with one of our own as he served his community when it mattered most.

Drug WorldHeidi Snyder, GNP board member and longtime APRx member, served as the moderator of the GNP Champions. We’re grateful for Heidi’s continued leadership and support.

Several longtime American Pharmacies members were recognized by GNP for their outstanding contributions and engagement:

People’s Pharmacy (Austin) and Alameda Thrifty Pharmacy (El Paso) were both highlighted among the Top 10 Most Responsive Pharmacies to online reviews—demonstrating their strong commitment to customer feedback and digital engagement.

Additionally, Laura Patterson of Hale Center Pharmacy was spotlighted during a presentation for her impactful social media post about diabetic shoes, showcasing how independent pharmacies are using creative outreach to promote patient care.
