We are entering the last six weeks of the school year and our students and staff are working diligently to finish out the year strong. As the Class of 2021 is getting ready to graduate and start the next chapter of their lives, we wanted to share exciting accomplishments from some of our graduating seniors, and also provide information on this year’s graduations. |

APS Salutes Our 2021 Daniels Scholars and Boettcher Scholar!

This recognition highlights each student’s outstanding leadership skills, exceptional character and service to the community.
The Daniels Fund provides students the opportunity to obtain a four-year college education at any accredited non-profit college or university in the United States with full financial and personal support throughout the process. The prestigious scholarship covers all required tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies and other miscellaneous college expenses.

We also want to recognize Gateway High School senior Jorja Whyte for earning the 2021 Boettcher Foundation Scholarship! The scholarship honors academic excellence, leadership skills and credentials, community service and noble character. Whyte endured an intense application and interview process and came out as a prized recipient.
Whyte, Gateway’s Class of 2021 salutatorian and the first Gateway Olympian to earn a Boettcher Scholarship since 2014, has enjoyed a busy and challenging high school career.
"When you work hard and persevere and achieve your goals, it's a very fulfilling feeling,” said Whyte.
The Boettcher Scholarship is one of Colorado's most prestigious, merit-based scholarships, providing students with a full ride to any in-state, four-year institution.
Congratulations, Jorja!

Join Us to Celebrate the Class of 2021!
We are excited to share information about our in-person graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2021. Our goal is to celebrate our students while following safety protocols provided by the Tri-County Health Department and other health officials.
The graduation ceremonies are being held later than normal to allow every senior the opportunity to complete their coursework and graduate on time.
All APS graduation ceremonies will be held at the APS Stadium, which is located next to Hinkley High School at 1250 Chambers Rd., Aurora, CO 80011. Please see the dates and times below:

Este reconocimiento destaca las aptitudes sobresalientes de liderazgo de cada estudiante, al igual que su carácter excepcional y el servicio que han brindado a la comunidad.
Daniels Fund ofrece a los estudiantes la oportunidad de obtener un título universitario de cuatro años en cualquier universidad o institución de estudios superiores que sea acreditada y sin fines de lucro de Estados Unidos, con apoyo financiero y personal completo a lo largo del proceso. Esta prestigiosa beca cubre todos los costos requeridos de matrícula y cuotas adicionales, alojamiento y comida, libros y útiles escolares, al igual que diversos costos de estudios universitarios.

¡También queremos reconocer a la estudiante de último año de Gateway High School, Jorja Whyte, por obtener este año 2021, la beca de Boettcher Foundation! Esta beca reconoce la excelencia académica, las aptitudes y credenciales de liderazgo, el servicio a la comunidad y un carácter noble. Whyte pasó por un arduo proceso de postulación y entrevistas, y fue premiada como la beneficiaria del premio. Más de 1,500 estudiantes se postularon para esta beca.
Whyte, quien fue la segunda mejor estudiante de la Clase de 2021 de Gateway High School y la primera Gateway Olympian en obtener la Beca Boettcher desde 2014, ha disfrutado de años de escuela preparatoria muy ocupados y desafiantes.
“Es una sensación muy reconfortante cuando trabajas duro, perseveras y alcanzas tus metas”, dijo Whyte.
La Beca Boettcher es una de las becas basadas en el mérito más prestigiosas de Colorado, y brinda a sus beneficiarios la totalidad de sus gastos pagados en cualquier institución educativa del Estado con duración de cuatro años.

¡Acompáñenos a celebrar a la Clase de 2021!
Nos complace compartirles información sobre nuestras ceremonias de graduación en persona para la Clase de 2021. Nuestra meta es homenajear a nuestros estudiantes, cumpliendo con los protocolos de seguridad establecidos por el Tri-County Health Department y otras entidades sanitarias.
Las ceremonias de graduación se llevarán a cabo en fechas más tarde de lo normal para permitir que todos los estudiantes de último año (seniors) tengan la oportunidad de completar sus cursos y graduarse a tiempo.
Todas las ceremonias de graduación de APS se realizarán en el Estadio de APS, el cual está ubicado junto a Hinkley High School en la siguiente dirección: 1250 Chambers Rd., Aurora, CO 80011. A continuación, podrán ver las fechas y horas de las ceremonias:
