Tip of the Week

Be Prepared!

Try to prepare for the next day ahead of time to improve your attendance!

Try laying out clothes, packing backpacks, and organizing school materials the night before to reduce morning stress and help you leave on time.

Important Reminders

APS Student Bill of Rights

We are developing a Student Bill of Rights in Atlanta Public Schools! This special set of guidelines will be a tool to help create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

We invite you to join our first APS community-wide virtual discussion on Saturday, October 7 at noon. To register, click HERE.

For more information, contact Alpachino Hogue, Executive Director, Office of Student and Employee Engagement at alpachino.hogue@apsk12.org.

Community Engagement Opportunity!

APS is hosting our monthly Goals & Guardrails Conversation. These events will take place every Thursday following the monthly Board Meeting to allow the community an opportunity to learn more about that month’s Goal or Guardrail.

On October 5, at noon, we will dive deeper into Literacy with Goal 1. Please register by visiting www.atlantapublicschools.us/APSConnects.

Check out Hola APS!

Visit our YouTube channel @APStv and view the latest episode of Hola APS where host, Jorge Romero, shares information with our Spanish speaking families about resources available through the district's Office of Family Engagement.

Like, subscribe and share both the channel and video with everyone you know. You may even see your student featured one day!
