Call for APTA Academy of Education member to serve as the Academy’s liaison to the Steering Committee for the annual Lynda D. Woodruff Lecture on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Physical Therapy (LDW Lecture).
The Physical Therapy Learning Institute (PTLI) is the primary sponsor of the LDW Lecture, in partnership with the AoE, APTA, ACAPT, AAPT (American Academy of Physical Therapy) and NABPT (National Association of Black Physical Therapists). Each organization will be represented on the Steering Committee whose task is to plan the annual event, held in June as part of the Juneteenth celebration. This year’s planning is targeting a June 18, 2021 lecture.
