Summer on Augusta Block Party at Capers Place
Thursday, June 20 - 5:00-8:00 pm
Events will be going on all along Augusta Road as local businesses celebrate Summer in the South with festivities, live music, block parties, BBQ, Tomato Pie Contest, kids activities, and field day games.
Great food, cool drinks, live music and much more!

We need 6 volunteers (2 per shift) to help at our table on Thursday.
Volunteers can sign-up to work in shifts:
1st shift: 4:30-6:00 pm
(
meet at the church to carry items over and help with set-up)
2nd shift: 6:00-7:00 pm
3rd shift: 7:00-8:00 pm

We are less than two months away from our
Appalachia Mission trip
with Praying Pelicans Missions and we need your support. We are collecting an offering to buy supplies as we repair floors and do other hard labor projects. Our goal is $1,000.
Financially supporting our mission trip is easy. You can give online

, or by using our ARBC mobile app. An online fund account has been created- Mission Trip Offering (Supplies). For those that wish to give with a check, please write “Mission Trip” in the memo line.

We are collecting items in June for the Youth Resource Center at Pendleton Place.
Items Needed: 100 white bath towels, 200 white wash cloths, Laundry Detergent, Bleach, Dryer Sheets
Items may be dropped off in the church office.

VBS will be June 24-27 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Shemwood Crossing Apartments. We will be study four stories about how we can “Experience the Ride of a Lifetime with God.”
We will have a quick
informational meeting for all VBS volunteers
on Sunday, June 23 at 10:30 am, right before worship. Please meet in the Sanctuary. As a reminder, we need 8-10 workers to walk around with children during VBS. Let us know if you are able to serve. Whether you are available one or all four days, we need your help.
VBS Collection
: We are collecting the following items to use during VBS.
60 plain white t-shirts for a craft
. (youth small, youth medium, youth large, adult small, adult medium, adult large).
Empty 2-liter soda bottles, any color.
You may bring items to the church office or give them to Bridget.

We are looking for volunteers who can sew to help make some fabric finger labyrinths (like the ones pictured) for our worship bags.
If you would be willing to help with project, please contact Bridget.

We are looking for more volunteers for worship care to serve once every five weeks. Please let Bridget know if you are able to help!
