WHY IS A CANDIDATE FOR ARCADIA CITY COUNCIL
USING A KNOWN REGISTERED AGENT
OF THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT FOR CAMPAIGNING?
| | Found on James Su's Facebook page is Councilman Michael Cao with James Su, owner of EDI Media, Inc. and now the subject of an FBI investigation: | | |

Disgraced Mayor of Arcadia Eileen Wang, wearing the City of Arcadia pin, was also at the event sitting next to James Su.
I was on Arcadia City Council at this time. I wasn't invited to this event. It wasn't on our Council Calendar.

WHY WERE ARCADIA COUNCIL MEMBERS
GOING TO EDI MEDIA EVENTS
REPRESENTING ARCADIA THAT WERE NOT ON THE COUNCIL'S OFFICIAL CALENDAR?
| |
At the last Council Meeting on July 21, 2026, Council proclaimed they had no ties to any foreign government, but if they are going to events and not reporting the events they are attending as a representative of Arcadia, how are we to truly know? | DOES THIS EXPLAIN WHY COUNCILMEMBER KWAN COULDN'T GET SUPPORT TO DISCUSS EILEEN WANG'S TIES TO THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT? | | |
Reminder, on March 3, 2026, Councilmember Sharon Kwan asked for a discussion about Mayor Eileen Wang and her ties to the Chinese Government in light of the FBI raid of Eileen's home and the conviction of her fiance, Mike Sun.
She was met with contempt from her fellow councilmembers.
