Drechtsteden plans new promotion & acquisition unit
In order to increase the employment rate and to strengthen its investment climate, the Dutch Drechtsteden region, with the city of Dordrecht as its pivotal municipality, intends to establish a regional unit for promotion and acquisition, that will support corporations in setting-up and expanding their business operations in the six cooperating municipalities. ARCUSplus developed the mar-keting and acquisition strategy for this unit, including the necessary detailed marketing tools and a blueprint for an ideal promotion and acquisition organisation: functions, tasks, responsibilities, targets, working agreements, etc. The unit will be operational early 2014 and will be targeting companies in the maritime and logistics sector. Moreover, ARCUSplus will further support KBP in actually developing some of these marketing tools in the next few months. Read more
City of The Hague initiates extra expat center service
Within the City of The Hague, The Hague International Centre (THIC) is the first point of contact for (new) residents and has been created especially for highly-skilled migrants and their family members who are working and living in the greater The Hague region. In the spring of this year THIC commissioned project partnership Ron Stoop and ARCUSplus to explore the possibilities of expanding the reach of the so-called expat center by adding municipal and national governmental services to its portfolio of formalities. The results of this survey can possibly be the stepping stone to a more tailored support for expatriates, also through other expat centers throughout the Netherlands.
