We welcome the Forum from Delano to our membership! For those of you who are pickle Ballers - you will be happy to learn more about them and check out their facility especially as winter is looming. The Forum is a place to work, meet and play! I'm sure you've seen the beautiful building by the DQ as you come into town from Hwy 12.

Owner Adam Eskola and General Manager Ben Teske have created a concept that is an innovative mixed use of space. The Forum has workspace (private and co-working), a fitness room with some instructor led classes, a sauna, 4 pickleball courts, golf simulators overlooking the courts, and a conference room and event space. Sounds like my perfect set up! Adam owns a pickleball court building business, so this space was his dream come to reality!

Besides the concept being unique, another thing that sets them apart is that this mixed use space is high end - is purpose built. It's not just a couple courts in a warehouse. The Forum is open 24/7 and their courts have high tech features like their scoreboard and instant replay. The event space is perfect for community events, family gatherings, birthday parties etc...

We are excited as our Chamber Board is having their retreat there next month - a little meeting, a little pickleball and a little supporting of our newest member! We definitely will be hosting a Good Morning Buffalo at the Forum in the new year!

Bruce Beggs from Buffalo and his partner Dale from Bloomington started the Biz-VoIP company together after knowing each other for over 20 years. Instead of just 2 guys selling phone systems, they took their IT backgrounds, revamped the website, got a logo and made it real!

All you need to have their phone system work for you is a phone and an internet connection. Their portal is in the cloud vs a box in the backroom! They can you set you up hardwire, but they prefer to be on wi-fi. It's pretty much a plug and play type operation that can save you money. They currently have over 70 commercial customers who all enjoy their services without a long-term contract.

You can even use their voices if you don't want your own on your voicemail! They also have cordless phones that can reach hundreds of feet if you want a landline. You can also set your system up to ring in the office and roll to your cell-phone so you don't have to divulge your cell number. They offer up lots of great ideas and great customer service!

CHAMBER INVITED TO SEE THE PROGRESS AT THE NEW COMMUNITY CENTER!

Melissa and I were lucky enough to join Adam Leiferman - the chief in charge of this whole Community Center move - in seeing some of the progress already being made inside! This is going to be such a cool space for community members of all ages! From meeting space, art space, movie space, gaming space, kids space and more - this will bring our community together! A GREAT WAY TO SUPPORT LOCAL!

Ladies Day Out is a great way to visit ALL the shoppes in town, have some breakfast, sip some wine - shop til you drop! There will be Jesse Jams food truck so maybe a burrito bowls sounds good, or Shells Chex Mix creations - little bags of tasty goodness from sweet to savory! Of course there will be prize drawings in each store, treats to sample, fall and Christmas feels to be had and gift buying to be done!
