2025 Masters Tournament Guidance

Welcome back to Jump Seat. It will be another busy week in the Augusta, Georgia area as the 2025 Masters Golf Tournament returns. Guidance from both the FAA and NBAA has been released for the period between April 6th and 14th. As usual, FBO reservations and required routes will be utilized for this event.

FBO Reservations

As soon as you can, contact your FBO to make reservations for any of the following locations:

KAGS -- Augusta Regional Airport at Bush Field, Augusta, GA

KAIK -- Aiken Regional Airport, Aiken, SC

KDNL -- Daniel Field, Augusta, GA

KHQU -- Thomson-McDuffie County Airport, Thomson, GA

Required Routes

The FAA will have required IFR routes for arrivals and departures at the airports in the NOTAM. These routes will be similar to the previous years and available as the Auto-Generated Route option on the flight planning page during the required times. You can also expect ATC Traffic Management initiatives such as Ground Stops and Ground Delay Programs, along with the possibility of flow control and miles-in-trail constraints for managing traffic volume. With that, we also anticipate Expected Departure Clearance Times (EDCTs).

The ARINCDirect Flight Operations team will stay on top of what is happening in and around the airspace for this event and will have the latest information from the Command Center and local ATC facilities. We can also assist you with delay mitigations throughout the event. Contact our Flight Operations team anytime at ad-flightops@collins.com or +1 410-266-2266.
