2026 Masters Tournament Guidance

Welcome back to Jump Seat. Spring has returned to North America and soon the Masters Golf Tournament will be taking place in Augusta, Georgia. Guidance from both the FAA and NBAA has been released for the period between April 5th and April 13th. As expected, FBO reservations and required routes will be utilized for this event.

FBO Reservations

If you have not done so, we recommend that you contact your FBO to make reservations for any of the following locations:

KAGS -- Augusta Regional Airport at Bush Field, Augusta, GA

KAIK -- Aiken Regional Airport, Aiken, SC

KDNL -- Daniel Field, Augusta, GA

KHQU -- Thomson-McDuffie County Airport, Thomson, GA

Required Routes

Similar to previous years, the FAA will have required IFR routes for arrivals and departures at the airports in the NOTAM. These routes will be available as the Auto-Generated Route option on the flight planning page during the required dates and times. You can also expect ATC Traffic Management initiatives such as Time-Based Flow Management (TBFM), Ground Stops, and Ground Delay Programs (GDPs) with possibilities of flow control and miles-in-trail constraints for managing traffic volume. With that, we also anticipate Expected Departure Clearance Times (EDCTs) to be issued as well.

The ARINCDirect Flight Operations team will stay on top of what is happening in and around the airspace for this event and will have the latest information from the Command Center and local ATC facilities. We can also assist you with delay mitigations throughout the event. Our Flight Operations team can be reached 24/7 at ad-flightops@collins.com or +1 410-266-2266.
