The VOCUS FlightRisk application is integrated with ARINCDirect and is included with an ARINCDirect flight planning subscription. This allows you to compute a flight risk alongside any flight plan and subsequently update that assessment when changes are made to your flight plan.
ARINCDirect Integration
When a new flight plan is created on the CreateFPL page and the FlightRisk Summary or FlightRisk Detailed checkbox is selected, ARINCDirect will send an automated request to FlightRisk to produce an output report containing risk assessment results. This report is attached to the ARINCDirect flight plan and also available for viewing in the ARINCDirect iPad App.
Certain updates to flight plans (i.e. city pair, alternates, ETD) will also automatically generate a request for an updated risk assessment version from FlightRisk. The action of filing a flight plan will generate a request for an updated assessment as well, to include the names of the PIC and SIC, if available.
Alternatively, the VOCUS FlightRisk tool can be accessed directly via the application tile on the Izon dashboard or via the Safety tab within the ARINCDirect website. These single sign-on experiences allow you to access the VOCUS application with additional features.
