The US Department of the Treasury has released its much-sought first round of guidance for governments on the use of funds to be received through the American Rescue Plan. Treasury has also created a portal for governments to use to set up receipt of the actual funds in the weeks ahead. NACo has assembled resources for county officials, and hosted a series of Q&A sessions, to help member counties access the funds, and to prepare for their proper deployment in the ongoing fight against the coronavirus and the many facets of public service affected by it. Conduit Street has your coverage as this major phase of support finally reaches the front lines of the fight.
