ARPS Parent Updates
Hello Owl Families...

Leaning into Complexity vs. Falling into Simplicity

That's the theme of the podcast I listened to on the way to school this morning. How serendipitous in light of our current reality.

As we continue to move forward in planning for the new year, Aspen Ridge will continue with our original reopening plan of offering either 100% in person or 100% virtual instruction for our families this coming year.

We are extending our window for the Learning Platform Survey until this Friday, August 7th. If you can't remember if you filled out your survey or you've changed your mind about which platform you want to start school with, please take a moment to complete it so that we have an accurate picture. Click HERE to access the survey. (We'll delete any duplicates in case you can't remember.)

Our teachers return to campus on Monday and our work is cut out for us...in all of it's complexity. Our minds have been in overdrive as we break down everything we've learned as educators in order to prepare for this coming year with high standards for academics, best instructional practices in this new climate and a continuation of positive growth and teamwork that continues to be a highlight at Aspen Ridge.

You will be receiving an email, no later than Friday, August 21st, giving you details that include:
Your child's homeroom teacher
Details for bringing materials to school and meeting your teacher
Additional clarity in what the upcoming school year will look like

The additional time that we've been gifted as a school will be utilized 100%, so thank you to all of our families who understand and support that time is needed in order to plan, process and implement new practices. Rest assured in knowing that if we are going to do anything at all, it's going to be the absolute best around.

We also having some openings that we are hiring for at Aspen Ridge. If you are interested or know of anyone interested, please send them to our website or to Indeed to take a look. We are looking for:
Kindergarten Teacher
Two Licensed Teachers to support our VIP program
Half Time Special Education Instructional Aide
Lunchroom monitors
Custodian
Full Time Covid Response Coordinator
Owl's Nest Lead Counselor

It's a great day to be an Owl! Thank you for your continued support.
