Happy Memorial Day Owls!
I hope that your last official week of school was successful and that this weekend allowed you and your family time to sit back, relax and spend some well deserved time together.
This week, we will wrap up our 19-20 school year with student materials pick-up (and drop-off) throughout the week.
The May 25th-29th schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday: PreK, Kinder and 1st Grade Pick-Up
- Wednesday: 2nd and 3rd Grade Pick-Up
- Thursday: 4th and 5th Grade Pick-Up
- Friday: Middle School Pick-Up
We will be at the school from 7:30am-3:30pm each day; feel free to pick just one of the assigned days to come if you have multiple children.
During the same time, we would also ask that you return:
- Checked out technology
- Library books
- Class readers and textbooks
- Borrowed PE equipment
- Kindergarten Caps and Gowns
Our yearbooks have not arrived yet; as soon as they do, an email will be sent out to all with the details for picking up.
Below are some pictures that give you a brief look into the celebrations we had last Friday night for our graduating Kinder and 8th graders. It was an 'OWL'standing event and the true epitome of what our community represents. We look forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come.
Lastly, while there are many unknowns on the horizon, the one thing I know for sure is that we miss our Owls and will be ready to see everyone in the Fall. Communication will continue throughout the summer as more information and clarification is shared for how our Fall semester will ensue. Be sure to check your emails for messages from the school.
As always, it's a great day to be an Owl! It's been an amazing year, full of memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for being part of the Aspen Ridge community, built BY the community to build UP the community! We are Aspen Ridge strong--our students; our school; our legacy.
Be well and happy summer!
Mrs. Salmeron, Principal
