WELCOME TO THE TEAM, JIM!
|
This past month, we welcomed Jim Bishop aboard as our Interim CEO. During his introductory office tour, he has greatly enjoyed meeting you all and seeing each location.
"Folks, it is a pleasure to connect with you. Having just joined ARRO, I look forward to continuing to learn more about you individually and collectively. The path forward for our industry is exciting and I look forward to being on that journey as a part of the ARRO team. As you plan for summer vacations, enjoy your time away and safe travels."
Welcome, Jim!

DID YOU HEAR THE
EXCITING NEWS?

Lea Garibaldi recently returned from her destination wedding and honeymoon in Hawaii. That's right, Hawaii. Just look at these amazing pictures. Sending a big congratulations to Lea and Michael!
On June 3rd Michael Bingham, Steph Kissoon and Tom Luff participated in the 47th Annual Red Rose Run (a 5-mile race through Lancaster). Thanks for representing ARRO out there, guys. Looks like it's time for us to start a running club!
Birdsboro intern Ben Meister graduated from Twin Valley High School over the weekend—and with very distinguished honors: he was valedictorian of his class. Congratulations on this incredible accomplishment, Ben!
Too good not to share: Dave Walasavage’s son, Derek, and his team recently won their district baseball championship game. Way to go Blue Mountain Baseball!
We work hard and play hard at ARRO. Tune in over the next few months to see all the cool places your coworkers are traveling this summer when they're officially #offduty!
Michael McRee and his wife traveled to Newfoundland, Canada to celebrate their 28th wedding anniversary. Be sure to ask Mike about their stay at the Cape Spear lighthouse, and the "Screech In" ceremony. Happy anniversary Mike!
Another anniversary trip! Melissa Underhill and her husband traveled to the sunny skies and aqua blue waters of Anna Maria, Florida in May to celebrate their 22nd wedding anniversary. Happy anniversary Melissa!
Heather Montgomery and her family recently returned from an epic cross-country trip to the Grand Canyon.
Jim Stokes and his family spent a fun Memorial Day weekend by Pine Creek in the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon!
Kevin Dunn cruised through the Caribbean in May, making stops in Antigua, St. Maarten, St. Lucia, Dominica and Barbados.
Kim Holman took her ARRO gear and headed south—here she is looking like she is having way too much fun at Walt Disney World. (Save some fun for the rest of us, Kim!)
Scott Miller and his wife took a trip through the Northeast a few weeks ago. Here's a snap from their stop at the Alchemist Brewery in Stowe, Vermont!
More visitors for the PA Grand Canyon! Brad Underkoffler and Gavin Freeman spent last week off the grid fly fishing in Pine Creek.
Heading north: Jenna Bishop recently took a trip to Maine with a friend. Here she is in beautiful Acadia National Park!
...Sneaking in one of my own. I got to spend beautiful Memorial Day weekend by the lake in Deep Creek, Maryland!

My human:
Denny Townsend
In Denny's words:
Biscuit came to us in January at four months old. After losing our second greyhound and all three cats, I had vowed no more “furry” things in the house. My wife did not agree… welcome Biscuit.
Biscuit has now taken over the house. He is very playful, but also sweet and loving, until he gets that wild look in his eyes... then watch out! His favorite things include any toys at any hour of the day or night, watching backyard wildlife, and kneading his favorite blanket while on Cindy’s lap. He also loves to plow through kitty obstacle courses, squeeze into tiny boxes, and destroy window screens (that last trick is new!). We love him and he has definitely enhanced our lives!
P.S. Does anyone know how much it costs to replace 20 window screens with cat resistant screening?

My human:
Russell Schlafer
In Russ's words:
Archer was a rescue in 2019 and has the same birthday as my wife (which makes things very easy for me!). He’s almost four years old and enjoys being a 90-pound blanket.
One of the few things that gets him excited enough to get off the couch is the word “treat.” If someone is home, he’ll be leaning on them at all times asking for just one more scratch or a piece of whatever we are eating.
Scared of any cardboard box that isn’t a Bark Box, he isn’t the greatest guard dog in the world but he’ll let you know something is outside while standing behind you so you can take care of it...
