Bartolomeo da Selma y Salaverde: a composer to discover
with Claudia Gantívar
May 9, 16, 23, 30: 5 - 6 PM, EDT
Bartolomeo da Selma y Salaverde was a great composer from Spain, he was very influenced by all the Italian great masters in the early baroque period. He was a virtuoso dulcian player, but many of his music can be played in the recorder. I suggest to use sopranos and tenors for this workshop and let’s discover together some divisions, sonatas, and dances composed by this terrific composer.
Each individual class is $25 (I will need at least three students to start this class).
Payments and registrations via Paypal. For more information, email: cgantivar@yahoo.com
