ARS Norian Youth Connect Program

The Armenian Relief Society of Eastern USA Fall Norian Youth Connect Program will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Yale University, New Haven, CT. 

Armenian college-aged students between the ages of 18 and 27 years old are encouraged to register. 

The registration fee of $50 covers participation of the program on Saturday including breakfast, lunch, dinner and the evening social. Overnight accommodations will be provided to out-of-town students only.

The speakers are:

Dr.  Kristi Rendahl  -- Assistant Professor and Director of the Nonprofit Leadership Program at Minnesota State University, and consultant at The Center for Victims of Torture (CVT).

Dr.  Henry Theriault  -- President of the International Association of Genocide Scholars, Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs at Worcester State University, and Co-Editor, of Genocide Studies International.

Mary Kouyoumdjian  -- Composer Mary Kouyoumdjian has received commissions from the Kronos Quartet, Carnegie Hall, Alarm Will Sound, the American Composers Forum/JFund, International Contemporary Ensemble [ICE], Brooklyn Youth Chorus, REDSHIFT, the Los Angeles New Music Ensemble, the Nouveau Classical Project, Music of Remembrance, Friction Quartet, Experiments in Opera, and Ensemble Oktoplus. 

Dr. Khatchig Mouradian  -- ARS Norian Youth Connect Program Director. Lecturer in Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies at Columbia University.
