USC Student Artwork for Charity!
Three Upper St. Clair High School artists from the Class of 2021 are donating their talents to assist families who have been negatively affected by COVID-19. Eileen Guo, Kathy Li, and Manjiri Palayekar have created the Art for Joy program to raise money for the Greater Washington County Food Bank.

For a donation of $10 and up, Eileen, Kathy or Manjiri will create a piece of digital art work. The cost of the commission varies based on the complexity of the drawing.

Possible applications? You could order a replica of your household pet, caricature of a family member or friend, illustration for a personalized greeting card, t-shirt design for a special occasion, picture of a favorite landscape, landmark, or wildlife, or even a customized personal logo or clip art for your website, stationary, project flier, or poster.

Visit their website here to peruse archived samples of their work, demonstrating traditional and avant-garde media of a wide range of styles: from realistic to surreal to comic book or cartoon-like.

The students are motivated to help individuals who have been affected by COVID-19 because of food insecurity and the strain on finances.

Interested donors can use the commission order form here. More instructions and information, as well as sample artwork, are available at artforjoyfundraiser.com or @artforjoy.fundraiser on Instagram.
