The artists inside studios at Rail Station Studios welcome you to visit our upcoming "Open
Studios" event. Two new artists who have joined the s tudio in recent months are eager to share their art with our long-time studio  followers as well as the
art-appreciating public. James Gilbreath and Jan Lorine join Gene
and Don Dillard as resident artists in the studio. All are members of Plano Art Association.
        On March 9 and 10, you will be able to see new works by all four artists. You will also be able to enjoy some delicious wine and cheese as you feast your eyes on the original artwork. Each artist will share their unique approaches and techniques they employ to create their art. By meeting artists and learning about their creative processes, you gain a unique appreciation for their work. 
 
RECEPTION, SATURDAY AT 6:30
A highlight of
the event will be a reception on Saturday evening. Although the event will be throughout the day on Saturday as well as Sunday afternoon, we especially hope you will attend the reception. 

Door prizes will be awarded by each of the four artists. D o n Dillard will give away a signed, limited edition of his noted "Waco Bridge" painting each d ay. James Gilbreath will give away an original Texas-themed watercolor. Jan Lorine will offer a portrait sketch of yourself or someone you choose. Gene Dillard will giv e away an oil portrait sketch as well.

Rail Station Studios

The studios are located in the heart of the Plano Arts District in historic downtown Plano. Four artists create original art from the comfortable space outfitted to serve as a studio and gallery for displaying their work. It also serves as the headquarters for Plano Art Association. It is the frequent site of workshops, demonstrations and art-focused meetings and events.
