Booth Setup Information & Map

VENDOR BOOTH SETUP INFORMATION

This email contains the necessary information for you to set up your booth. We have made some changes to the layout to accommodate nearly 20 NEW artists! So...

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY AND READ IT MORE THAN ONCE!

We want to make sure that booth setup goes as smoothly as possible. That means we need everyone's cooperation.

SETUP TIME:

  • Michigan Street will be closed BY 7:00 am. Setup will NOT begin until 7:00 AM. The event takes place from 10:00-3:00.

  • If it takes you longer than an hour to set up, please arrive at 7:00 am.  If it takes you an hour or less, please arrive at 8:00 am.

We are leaving it up to you to make this decision and hope that you will do so mindfully. Following these guidelines means that the setup area doesn't become too congested.

There will be volunteers (wearing HA red t-shirts) on hand to help set up tents and booths, and booth spaces will be marked. While we have gone to every effort to provide many hands for setup, it is recommended that you have a partner to help expedite your setup and teardown. Please locate a volunteer to help direct you to your booth.

LOCATING YOUR BOOTH:

Booths spaces will be marked on the asphalt with your booth number. Booths will be more spaced apart this year to allow vendors to use the outside of their tents for display. DO NOT FORGET YOUR TENT WEIGHTS!

Each block has been numbered on the map. Please refer to your booth number to locate your block and follow the directions below.

  • BLOCK 1:  Enter Michigan Street from Water St, following the BLUE arrows.

  • BLOCK 2: enter Michigan Street from Laporte Street, following the ORANGE arrows and exit onto Garro S to park.

  • BLOCKS 3 & 4: enter Michigan St. from Washington Street, following the YELLOW arrows.

The barricades will be open enough to drive your vehicle into the festival area. A volunteer will be on hand to help direct you if needed. Pull up right to your booth space and unload as quickly as possible, leaving room on the outside for other vendor vehicles to move along.

DO NOT PARK your vehicle in the median while unloading.

As soon as your vehicle is unloaded, follow the arrows to drive out of Michigan St. to park for the day. Parking instructions are below.

And, please check the spelling of your name and/or organization on the list above.   Any errors, please let me know ASAP!  We want to get it right!

Parking Your Vehicle

The RED DOT indicates the Heartland Artists Gallery and the numbers correspond to the blocks in the booth map. There are many parking lots and side streets where you can park your vehicle after unloading. The parking lot just southwest of the Gallery should have plenty of space.

PLEASE NOTE: The Farmer's Market will be taking place in the area just east of our event location in River Park Square. There may be some traffic in the area and that parking lot is typically full.

The event will take place rain or shine - so, think DRY!

SPREAD THE WORD by saving the festival flyer image at the top! You all know people who we don't, so invite all those you know!

THANK YOU!!!

We are so excited for a great festival and we couldn't do it without your involvement and support! See you next weekend!
