RV parks, campgrounds and glamping businesses in Indiana received great news as the Indiana Manufactured Housing Association – Recreation Vehicle Indiana Council (IMHA-RVIC) is merging with the Indiana Campground Owners Association (ICOA). The two organizations will collectively affiliate as a partnering state with National ARVC to provide expanded benefits to private campgrounds in the state. Indiana’s two campground associations are combining resources and promotional efforts statewide, and ICOA members will have the opportunity to join IMHA-RVIC at the end of 2021, making benefits on the state level, and now on the national level with ARVC, available to all Indiana campgrounds.

Jim Button, OHE, dreamed of owning Evergreen Campsites & Resort as a kid and for past 25 years he has lived out that dream. He is always finding ways to get more involved in the industry, whether as a volunteer at the state and national level, attending and speaking at ARVC events, serving in leadership roles (including being elected as Area 3 Representative for the National ARVC Board of Directors in 2020) and sharing his guidance with fellow park owners.

U.S. ACCESS BOARD LAUNCHES NEW SITE FOR
ICT BASELINE TESTING FOR WEB ACCESSIBILITY

The U.S. Access Board has released the ICT Testing Baseline for Web Accessibility that sets minimum testing criteria and evaluation guidance to determine if web content meets the globally recognized standards. The ICT Testing Baseline describes how to evaluate conformance and is organized by categories to help users easily identify applicable requirements. The Baseline itself is not a test process and does not include testing tools, but it can be used to create an accessibility test process.
