Improving Security for Our Members
Updated Member Profile Database Promises Improved Experience and Better Security
ARVC is updating our database of member profiles on July 22, with the goal to improve the user experience and provide added security for our members. In order to provide this additional layer of security, the new database will require each employee to have a unique email address to log into and edit a campground profile.

More information will be provided in the coming weeks via email, the ARVC website and social channels.

Expo sponsorship includes a 10' x 20' booth in the Sponsorship Pavilion, prominent placement on signage at the conference and expo, conference bag inserts, pre- and post-event attendee lists and more. Sponsorships are very limited, so reserve today.
ARE YOU DOING EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO PROMOTE YOUR PARK’S BRAND?
Brand management is one of the five core competencies covered in ARVC’s National School of RV Park and Campground Management . It’s important to know your park's brand and to promote it on your website and social media to attract your target audience. You also need all of your park employees to clearly understand your brand so they can effectively communicate it to your guests.

Learn about brand management and other core competencies through our certificate programs and educational opportunities. Our blog breaks down our program and looks at the importance of each the core competencies and what you’ll learn.

When You Don't Have the Power
Campground operations can be shut down or affected by any number of issues, so owners have to be prepared for issues on the horizon. In Northern California, rampant wildfire issues present an obvious threat, resulting in possible preemptive energy shutdowns in danger areas by Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), the state’s largest utility provider. While this may help stop fires, it still presents a number of challenges for parks and campgrounds in the area, causing safety concerns and interrupting business. Learn more about blackouts, emergency protocol and sign up for alerts on the PG&E website.
ARVC is Here to Help You Prepare and Overcome
ARVC is here to assist our industry in the face of these blackouts, wildfires or any disaster. Join us this year for our NEW CPR/Emergency Management Plan Workshop at OHCE. This workshop will provide campground owners and operators hands-on training and experience in disaster situations.

Has disaster already hit your park? The ARVC Foundation can provide disaster relief grants to help your park bounce back after disaster. Visit ARVCFoundation.org to learn more.
